The NEW QualyDOT Scan-Light- Source

An image says more than 1000 words.

The NEW QualyDOT-DR

„Size of Video 8 MB“
The modified exposure with the QualyDOT-DR leads to much steeper flank angles.

This results in a reduction of the dot area coverage.

Negative elements are more open. Because of deep reverses, fewer machine stops for cleaning cycles are necessary.
Result: Higher quality. Better productivity.

The NEW
QualyDOT-DR D = Duplex filter.
Which will be built into all QualyDOT units in future. This filter cuts off the wave length smaller than 350 Nm and larger than 400 Nm.

R = Reduction filter.
Increase the exposure latitude. This filter can change the area coverage of the dots of flexo- and letter press plates during the exposure.

QualyDOT-DR The essence of simplicity and precision.

Another significant improvement in the exposure of flexo printing plates has been achieved by optimizing the QualyDOT.

In addition to the well known advantages of the machine, such as easy operation, even reproducible exposure through permanent UV measuring during the exposure process, we are now, for the first time, able to reduce the area coverage of dots through the optimized exposure head. This process is constantly achievable with flexo plates as well as with letterpress plates. With the optimized QualyDOT - DR completely new possibilities present themselves with analog plate exposure methods.

It is now possible to reproducibly extend the tone range with analog plate exposure.

Additionally, a greater tonal range can now be achieved with better highlight dots and more open mid tone and shadow area. The analog exposure method has been taken to a new dimension of quality by the QualyDOT-DR

Flexographic printing with analog exposed plates now approaches the quality of digital imaged plates.

The QualyDOT-DR even brings advantages to the analogous FAST flexo plates.
